Faber-Castell – Perfect Pencil With Platinum Plating Brown

The art of writing and drawing with a pencil only comes about when said pencil remains sharp. So, when Graf von Faber-Castell approached the design of their Perfect Pencil, they wondered where the pencil sharpener should be located, so as not to be cumbersome or unattractive.

By storing the sharpener in the Perfect Pencil’s platinum-plated lid – which also serves to extend the pencil when in use – Faber-Castell were able to make this historical writing instrument relevant again. With an eraser hidden under the end cap, the Perfect Pencil combines all the necessary elements in sleek, compact form. Crafted from Californian cedar wood, this pencil is a true indication of something special.

They say that “nothing’s perfect”, but this pencil indeed comes very close…
